St. Peters, Missouri · 2 weeks ago · Stayed with kids

Beautiful place for a quick weekend getaway. The house was clean and provided all of the items you need when away from home. We felt at ease from the moment we walked in the door! The use of the kayaks and water lily pad were our favorite things for sure. Sitting around the campfire and roasting marshmallows was an added bonus! We will definitely consider coming back during warm weather. The only surprise was that the bedroom with the bunk beds does not have access from the main house, as you enter that one room from an exterior door on the outside of the building. So if you’re traveling with small kids, as we were, you’ll need to consider that, as we had no clue at all. Thank goodness for the pull out sleeper sofa so the smaller kids were able to sleep on that next to the main bedroom in the living room. Other than that our stay was just perfect! Adrian was super responsive, great host! I would recommend staying here!

Adrian’s cozy getaway was exactly what our family was hoping for! The house was clean and cozy, sweet welcome note with a basket of snacks for the kids, beautiful view of the lake! It really was an amazing find that we were lucky enough to book! Great host and a perfect getaway thanks to the host! Just can’t say enough good things about it. We fished off the dock and got a good variety of fish and enjoyed bags and smores. Perfect getaway.

This was such a wonderful little piece of paradise for my family and I. This adorable place was peaceful and surrounded by all that nature provides. On the drive in we saw plenty of deer, we saw hummingbirds, we saw a groundhog, we saw plenty of turtles, and we fished and swam ALL day. We went to dinners close and there are stores within 15 minutes. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful experience Adrian! Thank you for sharing you home with us!

Beautiful location and amazing hosts. Perfect for a family getaway or a peaceful place to stay if in town on business. Can tell the house is a cherished family retreat and not just a means to make extra money from a listing. Adrian is awesome and always available. Water access is amazing. Definitely take a kayak out! Book with confidence. I know we’ll be staying here again the next time we’re in town.
